Senior Housing Options PT Development Coordinator
: Description:
Summary/Objective: To support the Development Department and fundraising and marketing program within the organization to further our mission.
Essential functions:
- Provide administrative support for the department
- Support comprehensive fundraising and marketing plans
- Assist in stewarding individual, corporate and community donors and funders
- Provide grant information gathering and support
- Gift-entry in CRM and other data entry as needed
- Process donor acknowledgement letters
- Provide fundraising event support
- Assist with marketing needs to support the individual communities and SHO
Work environment:
- Office setting; may sit for long periods
- Possible external outreach visiting communities, donors and attending outside meetings
- Intermittent sitting, standing, and walking
- Lift up to 20 pounds
Competencies:
- Deep commitment for the organization's mission and vision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English or bilingual)
- Comfortable working with Microsoft 365 products
- Strong data entry skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and adaptability
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma
- At least 2 years in an office setting
- Experience providing administrative support
- Strong written and verbal skills
Expected Hours of Work:
This role is considered part-time (20-25 hours a week)
