Inside Sales Rep
Well established, company in Englishtown, NJ, is looking for an Inside Sales candidate to join our team. One of the largest wholesale tropical and domestic hardwood distributors and custom moulding manufacturers on the Eastern Seaboard services woodworkers, retailers, store fixture manufacturers and other companies that use hardwood lumber and mouldings in their manufacturing processes throughout North America.
Lumber knowledge and mill experience a bonus, stable employment history preferred.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Assist outside staff in preparing quotes and checking stock.
- Fielding phone inquiries to quote current and potential future jobs.
- Work with Traffic Manager fielding inventory and shipping questions.
- Work with Mill Manager to coordinate the entering of moulding and millwork orders.
- Works directly with customers.
- Takes customer orders and processes orders.
- May need to work in different company departments at first for training.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma.
- Prior experience in sales and customer service.
- Proficiency with Microsoft word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong organizational, communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Detailed oriented.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
