Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Alarm Panel Patrol in Atlantic City, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide welcoming customer service, communicate professionally with residents and visitors, and respond to alarms or concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
