Job Overview:

Clinical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for performing moderate-complex laboratory tests and analyses to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.

This role involves working with variety of laboratory equipment and technologies, maintaining laboratory safety standards, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of test results.

Qualifications:

Required:

• BA/BS Degree in Medical Technology and /or related science
• 2 to 3 years clinical laboratory experience

Preferred:

• National Certification

Scheduling Requirements:

• Shift working, 3-11pm
• Full-time (FT)

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for pre-Analytical, Analytical, and Post-Analytical workflow processes in Blood Bank, Chemistry, UA, and Hematology Department
• Perform daily QC, troubleshooting quality control test results, and communicating with caregivers for critical results
• Adhere to policy and procedures and perform other duties under the direction of the departmental supervisor

• Work closely with other laboratory staff, physicians, and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
