Pet Pro (Daycare/Kennel)

The Pet Pro is a position within the Resort . We believe in the mission of “Pet Lovers Delighting Pet Lovers” and we demonstrate this through being Playful, Passionate, Personal and Professional. A successful candidate for this position will be someone who not only embraces this culture, but is a team player, self-motivated, takes direction well, has excellent communication skills, and great attention to detail. This is a service-related industry and you should not only be skilled at customer service, but passionate about helping people. You’ll work in our Daycare and Boarding areas to care and ensure the safety of the guests in our facility. Not only will you focus on handling dogs all day, but on the cleanliness of the facility.

The Pet Spa and Resort is a full service, resort experience for the Franklin, NJ dogs and their parents. We offer daycare, boarding, grooming. Our pack takes pride in our work by conducting and holding ourselves to an extremely high standard of customer care and dog safety.

Applicants should be: organized, enthusiastic, detail oriented, hard-working, dedicated, dog-loving and professional. Ability to add positivity to our team while maintaining our top notch work environment is a must!

What we expect:

Proper shoes and the ability to stand for long periods of time on cement are required. We proudly open our doors to ALL dogs; so applicants should be comfortable around all breeds, regardless of their age and size. We expect applicants to have reliable transportation.

Work Schedule & Benefits:

The Pet Spa and Resort operates 365 days a year! Ideal applicants will be available for a variety shifts, plus weekends and holidays. A majority of your day will involve interacting with and supervising our dogs in the daycare and kennel. Various cleaning tasks will also be expected to be carried out at some point during each shift.

Applicants will enjoy discounts on retail and in house services when hired. Employees who work 30 plus hour a week will have access to health insurance, dental and vision insurance, and our 401k program.

Salary:

Kennel Technicians (AKA Pet Pros) start at $13.00/hour. Part Time positions lead to Full Time positions based on performance. There is always the potential for growth within the company if you are a passionate and hardworking pack member!
