Veterinary Client Service Representative
Red Bank Veterinary Hospital (RBVH) proudly opened its new, state-of-the-art facility in May 2024—an expansive, 100,000+ square foot space nearly twice the size of our original Tinton Falls location. This milestone marks the continuation of over 40 years of dedicated service to our community. Equipped with advanced diagnostics like MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, and a PET scanner, the hospital features 52 exam rooms, 12 surgical suites, a dedicated emergency department, and expanded training spaces. Thoughtful amenities—including feline-only waiting areas, a rehab unit, comfort rooms, and a serene zen garden—reflect our commitment to exceptional care for pets and their families.
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Client Service Representatives to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the welcoming face and reassuring voice for our clients—helping them feel comfortable, informed, and cared for every step of the way. Position Overview:The Client Service Representative (CSR) provides high-quality customer service that consistently meets or exceeds client expectations. This role supports our doctors and team members while ensuring every client interaction is handled with professionalism, respect, and compassion. The CSR actively seeks opportunities to enhance the client experience and continuously improve the delivery of our services. Compensation:
- $19-$21/hr based on experience.
Anticipated Schedule:
- Full Time
- Sunday - Thursday
- 9am - 5pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the front desk by greeting clients, checking patients in/out, scheduling rechecks
- and signing visitors and vendors in.
- Oversee the clinic flow.
- Manage and assist client in the euthanasia paperwork process.
- Discuss payment choices with clients.
- Process Daily Estimate Report (Out Window CSR).
- Assist with daily administrative duties such as printing schedules, pulling charts, filing,
- emailing medical records, distribute daily mail and purging charts in system.
- Maintain knowledge of extension numbers to reach employees throughout the network.
- Assist in emergency situations by expediting calls to triage staff members.
- May require mentoring or overseeing students from various educational programs.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- At least ONE YEAR working within a customer service environment
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Must be computer literate; basic computer skills with ability to navigate new software.
- Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus!
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of experience working as a veterinary client service representative in a busy Urgent care or ER/Specialty hospital
