Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based neonatal nursing care for neonates, including preterm and term infants
- Monitor vital signs, respiratory status, and provide respiratory support (CPAP, HFNC, ventilator modes as applicable)
- Initiate and manage IV therapy, central lines/UAC/UVC care, phototherapy, and feeding tube management (OG/NG)
- Perform sepsis workups, glucose management, and APGAR scoring; recognize early warning signs and respond to emergencies
- Administer medications and blood products per protocol; document accurately in Epic; participate in rounds with the care team
- Provide developmental care and parent teaching; ensure safe transfer, discharge planning, and family-centered care

Requirements
- Active registered nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or eligibility to practice
- Certifications: BLS, NRP, NRP Advanced, STABLE
- Experience: 2 years NICU experience preferred
- Charting: Epic experience required
- Education: RN degree (licensure to practice as an RN)
- Unit/setting: Ability to work in a NICU Level II environment; float to baby nursery as a baby nurse when needed
- Travel specifics: Travel experience not clearly defined in posting; confirmation with account manager required prior to submittal
