Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner - Payments with a strong background in payment systems, technical analysis, and stakeholder collaboration . The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical exposure, deep domain knowledge in payments, and the ability to lead deliverables independently while working with global offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Product Owner for payment-related applications and initiatives

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, development, and QA teams to define and deliver product requirements

• Write and analyze SQL / Oracle queries for data validation, issue analysis, and reporting

• Perform analysis and troubleshooting using AWS logs, databases, and Splunk

• Ensure product alignment with payment standards and wire formats (ISO)

• Lead deliverables end-to-end with minimal supervision

• Support production issues, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement

• Communicate effectively with offshore teams across time zones

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall experience in Product Owner / Product Management / Business Analysis roles

• Strong payments domain experience (Banking, Financial Services, FinTech)

• Hands-on experience with:

  • SQL / Oracle queries

  • AWS logs and monitoring tools

  • Splunk or similar log analysis tools

• Solid technical background in development and/or QA

• Good understanding of ISO wire formats and payment messaging

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work independently and lead initiatives with minimal guidance

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting payment platforms or transaction processing systems

• Exposure to production support environments

• Prior experience working in distributed or offshore team models
