Dishwasher

We are seeking an experienced Dishwasher to join our team.You'll be a core part of a kitchen team that takes pride in getting every detail right.

A clean, organized kitchen is the foundation everything else at eventfullnyc is built on. Our chefs can't plate a flawless event, and our food can't leave the kitchen safe and on time, without a dish and kitchen support team keeping the operation moving. This role isn't in the background of what we do; it's what makes the rest of it possible.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and catering equipment by hand and machine
• Keep the dish station and warewashing area clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift
• Dry, sort, and return clean equipment to its proper place so it's ready when the team needs it
• Rinse and pre-treat heavily soiled pots, pans, and catering trays
• Empty trash and recycling and keep the kitchen sanitary and up to health code
• Receive deliveries and put away stock and supplies
• Help with kitchen setup, breakdown, and deep cleaning between event pushes

Skills & Requirements

• Reliable and punctual, with availability for nights and weekends around the event schedule
• Able to work quickly and stay organized in a fast-paced kitchen
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable with repetitive physical work in a busy environment
• Works well as part of a team and takes direction well
• Prior kitchen or dish experience required
