Mala Town is looking for reliable and hardworking Kitchen Staff to join our team! As a key member of our back-of-house crew, you will be responsible for food preparation, kitchen organization, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and passionate about delivering high-quality food in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion food ingredients according to recipes and standards.
• Support chefs and cooks during busy hours to ensure timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, prep tables, and storage areas.
• Wash and organize utensils, cookware, and dishes as needed.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift.
• Assist with receiving and organizing food deliveries.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of food safety and kitchen sanitation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, team-oriented environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
