As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Mahwah, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and vehicles. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive business location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, vehicle storage areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery check-in procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities through clear and timely reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
