The Intern will assist the Global Study Lead and/or Data Management lead and in various aspects of clinical trial/data management. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry and learn about the drug development process.

Main Responsibilities

Study Support:
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of study-related documents.
  • Help maintain study files and databases.
  • Support the team in scheduling and coordinating study-related meetings.

Data Management:
  • Perform data validation activities to ensure quality of clinical data.
  • Monitor progress of data cleaning and communicate as per study plan.
  • Perform user-acceptance testing of clinical database.
  • Participate in relevant study team meetings to learn about operationalization of clinical trials.

Literature Review:
  • Conduct literature searches to support study design and protocol development.
  • Summarize scientific articles relevant to ongoing studies.

Document Review:
  • Help in proofreading and formatting study documents.
  • Assist in the review of informed consent forms and other patient-facing materials.

Project Coordination:
  • Support the Study Lead in tracking study timelines and milestones.
  • Help in the preparation of progress reports for internal stakeholders.

Learning and Development:
  • Attend relevant training sessions and department meetings.
  • Participate in educational opportunities to learn about clinical research processes and regulations.

Administrative Support:
  • Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.
  • Help in the preparation of materials for ethics committee submissions.

About You

Basic Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s in Life Sciences, Public Health, Pharmacy or related field at an accredited college or university with the expectation that you will complete your current degree by the Spring of 2027
  • Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship/co-op with Sanofi
  • Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship
  • Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship

  • Strong interest in clinical research and the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Excellent written and oral communication
