Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Contract)

Location: Hackensack, NJ 07601

Duration: 13 weeks (extendable)

Shift: 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Pay Rate: $2,631 weekly gross

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team on a contract basis in Hackensack, NJ 07601 . The RN will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting physicians and ensuring the well-being of mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth process.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and assist physicians with direct patient care.

• Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.

• Identify patient needs and set priorities through ongoing assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans.

• Initiate assessments based on patient needs, physician diagnosis, and functional health framework.

• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.

• Document all care provided, reflecting patient acuity and clinical priorities.

• Advocate for evidence-based care standards and support adoption of innovative practices.

• Deliver patient-centered care in alignment with professional nursing practice models.

• Maintain compliance with clinical, safety, and organizational standards.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

• Required: ASN (Associate Degree in Nursing)

• Preferred: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)

Licensure & Certifications

• Required:

  • Active NJ State RN license or multi-state compact license

  • BLS (AHA)

  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

• Preferred:

  • ACLS

  • Advanced AWHONN or EFM certification
