Do you value mental and emotional well-being as part of a persons overall wellness? Serenium Therapy & Wellness is looking for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide medication management and psychiatric evaluations for our clients in New Jersey.

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Serenium, you will help our clients feel a sense of serenity and balance working with them to calm their mind and emotions. Diagnose mental, emotional and behavioral disorders and prescribe medication or administer psychotherapeutic treatment in a collaborative agreement with the Program Psychiatrist.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities include, under direct supervision of the Medical Director or Assigned Psychiatrist, but not limited to:
• 1. Analyzes and evaluates client data and test or examination findings to diagnose nature and extent of mental disorder.
• 2. Prescribes, directs, and administers psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
• 3. Gathers and maintains client information and records, including social and medical history obtained from client, relatives, and other professionals.
• 4. Advises and informs guardians, relatives and significant others of the client's condition and treatment.
• 5. Prepares case reports and summaries for client, agency, and other agencies when applicable.
• Must be able to time manage 45 MINUTE INTAKES / 30 MINUTE FOLLOW UPS

Basic Qualifications:

• NJ APN License (Required)
• PMHNP Board Certification (Required)
• Must be available to work a full 40 hour week, 5 days a week
  
• Previous experience working as Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at an outpatient mental health practice

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual is a plus
