Responsibilities include: • Support all SAP systems - focused primarily on ABAP programming. • Develop interfaces between SAP and other business applications. • Create data transfer files, downloads and eComm data transactions using RFC, XML, oData and web methods. • Develop/Maintain custom programs based on RICEF. • Create documents & forms using Adobe Forms, Smartforms and SAP Script. • Develop/Maintain Workflows. • Support and develop IDOCs between SAP and electronic data exchange interface (EDI). • Support upload of products and data transfers such as advance shipping notices, daily retail sales information and transactions, inventory movements etc. between SAP and CEGID/CBR. • Develop/Maintain RFC Function Modules. • Develop/Maintain CDS Views for HANA. Profile The IT department is looking for a SAP ABAP Programmer to provide support on all SAP systems - focused primarily on ABAP programming. Professional requirements Required technical skills and systems knowledge: • S/4 HANA & ECC 6.0 with MM, SD and FI modules. • FTP and protocols. • SQL in ABAP workbench with object oriented approach. • ABAP development tools including SOAP and Transformation Objects. • Reporting tools including ALV, Hierarchal ALV and standard lists. • BAPI, BADI's, User-exits. • ALE/IDOCS, and EDI. • Knowledge of Data Migration Tools is a plus. • Knowledge of SAP CS is a plus. • Knowledge of Neptune for FIORI apps is a plus • Knowledge of Web Services/oData in SAP is plus • Knowledge of POS systems like CEGID/CBR is a plus Required education & business skills: • Masters/Bachelor of Computer Science • 5 years of SAP ABAP experience in a business environment. • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills and is able to see a task through to completion. • A track record of progressing to higher levels of responsibility within a well respected company utilizing SAP technology. • Proven skill in establishing and growing a relationship network with department heads (users). • Proactive leader with a balance of strategic and operational & technical skills. • Strong analytical, forecasting, planning and conceptual skills as well as a solid understanding of system capabilities; • Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as solid administrative and follow-up skills with an emphasis on detail.
