Remote Medical Scribe

New Jersey IEC is looking for a Remote Medical Scribe to join our dedicated team. This part-time position offers the flexibility of remote work while contributing to the essential documentation process in the construction industry. Located in Somerset, this role is perfect for individuals seeking to enhance their experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.
As a Remote Medical Scribe, you will play a critical role in accurately documenting patient interactions and ensuring that medical records are up-to-date and comprehensive. Your work will directly support healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality care, while also streamlining administrative processes. We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $29 to $34, depending on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently
- Assist healthcare providers with charting and record-keeping
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate patient care
- Manage and organize electronic health records
- Review and summarize patient information as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Support ongoing projects related to documentation improvements
Requirements
- Proven experience as a medical scribe or similar role
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation
- Excellent typing and transcription skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
