Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Location: Lakewood, New Jersey
Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $23 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: Mon-Fri, from 8am to 4:30pm with OT as needed



Shipping & Receiving Clerk Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and carrier requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
• Load and unload delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Label, tag, and store received materials in designated locations.
• Coordinate with carriers and freight companies to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Check shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, and packing slips.
• Track shipments and resolve any discrepancies or delays with vendors or transporters.
• Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Collaborate with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth material flow.

• Complete cycle counts Using SAP and Microsoft 350 to

• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Forklift experience
• Experience with inventory counts and receiving raw materials
• Strong computer skills
• SAP experience is a huge plus
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and shipping software (e.g., FedEx, UPS, ERP systems).
• Proven experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
