Executive Chef – Steakhouse
Location: Monroe, NJ

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations of our upscale steakhouse. This individual will bring creativity, leadership, and strong operational expertise to deliver an exceptional dining experience centered on premium steaks, elevated sides, and seasonal flavors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, and presentation.

• Design and execute a steakhouse-focused menu that highlights high-quality meats, fresh ingredients, and culinary innovation.

• Manage, train, and inspire a team of culinary professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, consistency, and collaboration.

• Monitor inventory, food costs, and vendor relationships to maintain profitability without compromising quality.

• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.

• Partner with restaurant leadership on strategic planning, specials, and guest experience enhancements.

• Drive consistency in execution, ensuring every dish reflects the restaurant’s brand and standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-volume, upscale dining environment.

• Strong background in steakhouse cuisine, butchery, and classic cooking techniques.

• Demonstrated leadership ability to build and develop a high-performing kitchen team.

• Strong business acumen with experience managing food costs and operational budgets.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Culinary degree or formal training preferred, but not required with relevant experience.
