Now Hiring: Special Education Teacher (25/26 School Year)

Location : Bloomfield, NJ

Contract through the 25/26 school year
Schedule : 34–40 hours/week | Follows school district calendar
Setting : Elementary, Middle, and High School openings

Weekly Pay: Up to $1,950

Your Role as a Special Education Teacher:

• Design and deliver engaging instruction tailored to each student’s IEP.
• Adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs and learning styles.
• Maintain strong, ongoing communication with families.
• Foster a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment.
• Implement effective behavior strategies to support student success.
• Provide both group and individualized instruction.
• Track progress and adjust instruction based on data and IEP goals.
• Complete evaluations and maintain accurate, compliant documentation.
• Collaborate with other teachers, specialists, and administrators.
• Participate in ongoing professional development.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal SPED regulations.

Special Education Teacher Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid New Jersey Teaching Certification in Special Education.
• Experience with IEPs, compliance, case management, and documentation.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Experience working with a variety of disabilities (preferred).
• Ability to collaborate effectively and bring initiative to the classroom.

Compensation & Benefits

• Weekly Pay: Up to $1,950.
