About the Role:
Join our passionate team at NJ DOG BARBERS LLC as a Dog Groomer, where your love for pets and grooming expertise will shine! We are dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable grooming experience for our furry clients in Sayreville, NJ.
Responsibilities:
- Perform grooming services including bathing, drying, cutting, and styling for various dog breeds.
- Assess the health and condition of pets to recommend appropriate grooming treatments.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area to ensure safety and hygiene.
- Communicate with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide excellent customer service.
- Handle pets with care and compassion, ensuring a positive experience for both pets and owners.
- Stay updated on grooming trends and techniques to enhance service offerings.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate records of grooming services.
- Assist in retail sales of grooming products and supplies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a dog groomer with a portfolio of completed grooming styles.
- Certification in pet grooming or completion of a grooming school is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dog breeds, grooming techniques, and animal behavior.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor with pets and clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
- Physical stamina to handle pets of all sizes and perform grooming tasks.
- Current knowledge of pet health and safety regulations.
