Operations Manager
- Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance productivity and efficiency within the manufacturing department.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of manufacturing professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on production goals, quality standards, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Oversee inventory management, supply chain logistics, and resource allocation to optimize operational performance.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices within the manufacturing environment.
- Drive initiatives that promote sustainability and ethical practices in line with FlowerHire's mission and values.
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the cannabis or related industries.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset to drive operational improvements.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and compliance regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and comply with all legal requirements for working in the cannabis industry.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience in the cannabis industry, with a deep understanding of its unique challenges and opportunities.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
- Passion for the cannabis movement and a commitment to promoting its positive impact on society.
