About the Role
Eastern DataComm is looking for a driven, consultative sales professional ready to take ownership of their territory and make a real impact. As an Outside B2B Sales Executive, you'll represent a market-leading portfolio of safety and communications solutions including physical security, unified communications, wired and wireless networks, cybersecurity and emergency notification systems, to businesses across New Jersey and the Tri-State area. If you're a proven hunter who thrives on building relationships, closing complex deals, and delivering measurable value to clients, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Aggressively prospect and build a strong, consistent pipeline of new business opportunities
- Sell a full portfolio of solutions including video surveillance, access control, unified communications, and emergency notification systems
- Target key vertical markets
- Cultivate high-value relationships with referral partners, consultants, and strategic finders
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and present tailored solutions that directly address client challenges
- Own the full sales cycle from discovery and scoping through proposal, negotiation, and close
- Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, CFOs, IT leaders, and business owners
- Deliver compelling ROI- and TCO-based value propositions with confidence and credibility
- Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and opportunity tracking
- Achieve and exceed assigned revenue and gross margin quotas
What You Bring
- 5+ years of outside B2B sales experience with a demonstrated history of exceeding quota
- A true hunter mentality you are energized by prospecting and winning new business
- Proven ability to engage, navigate, and close at the C-suite and senior decision-maker level
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and active listening skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex sales cycles simultaneously
- Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously while collaborating cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and project management teams
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in technology, security, communications, or related B2B solutions sales
- Familiarity with consultative or solution-based selling methodologies
- Experience leading ROI/TCO-driven sales conversations
