Sr. Cloud Engineer - REMOTE

Accountabilities

• Create new managed compute primitives with clean APIs.
• Design autoscaling systems for predictable worker fleet scaling.
• Define architecture for cohesive compute capabilities across platforms.
• Architect and operate high-performance task execution services.
• Manage cloud integrations including secure networking and IAM boundaries.
• Implement operational features like SLOs and load testing.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of API design and rollout strategies.
• Lead design documentation and technical reviews.
• Influence cross-team platform changes.

Requirements

• Experience in building distributed systems or multi-tenant platforms.
• Strong understanding of concurrency, performance, and reliability.
• Proven ability to ship platform primitives like APIs or control planes.
• Comfort in managing outcomes, including incident responses.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Experience in Go is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms is desirable.
• Knowledge of IAM/security boundaries for cloud execution models.
