Make a difference in the lives of students by supporting their growth as a Special Education Math Teacher on a contract assignment for the 2026-2027 school year. Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credentials
• Demonstrated success or certification in Math instruction (special education plus math credits required)
• Experience working with students who have diverse learning needs
• Teacher of the Handicapped certification with relevant math credits (if applicable) also considered
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to inclusive teaching practices and differentiated instruction

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging math lessons tailored to the needs of special education students
• Create and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), tracking students’ progress and documenting growth
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
• Establish a positive, supportive classroom environment that fosters confidence, self-advocacy, and academic achievement
• Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and ongoing professional development
