Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist position is available to support K-12 students throughout the upcoming school year in Orange, NJ. This contract role provides an opportunity to apply your expertise in educational psychology within a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and interventions to support student learning and mental health.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide counseling services.
- Monitor student progress and provide recommendations for behavioral and academic support.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address students needs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with applicable regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid license or certification as a school psychologist.
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of educational laws, special education processes, and psychological assessment tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Position is based in Orange, New Jersey, serving a K-12 educational community.
