District Sales Manager - Remote | WFH
Collaborate closely with Sales Consultants to project sales volumes and profitability for both new and existing clients.
Ensure the team follows through on plans and meets all sales objectives.
Manage account assignments and make adjustments when needed.
Lead recruitment and professional development of Sales Consultants, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Provide regular feedback and coaching to help your team balance productivity, customer service, and quality.
Assist in staff selection, performance evaluations, and, when necessary, corrective actions.
Promote ongoing training and skill development to maintain a high-performing team.
Drive change management initiatives to align with organizational goals.
Participate in client-facing activities, including presentations, to uphold the highest standards of service.
Work cross-functionally with internal departments to foster collaboration and ensure customer satisfaction.
Use data analysis tools to identify opportunities and target new clients, while maintaining and growing existing accounts.
Proactively address potential issues and communicate changes that may impact customer service.
Coordinate with accounts receivable to ensure timely invoice payments from clients. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred).
Experience: 3-5 years of sales management experience in B2B environments (preferred).
2-3 years of field sales experience.
Experience managing a remote sales team is a plus. Skills & Attributes: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and mentorship.
Ability to engage in discussions, lead meetings, and manage team dynamics effectively.
Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and delegating tasks efficiently.
High level of trust, accountability, and collaboration.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
Proficiency in financial concepts, including pricing and forecasting.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
Skilled in using software like MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), and familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Phocas, and Gforce. Physical Demands: Regularly sit, stand, walk, and use hands to operate a computer and telephone.
Occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds. Work Environment: The position may be based in a traditional office or a remote home-based office, depending on the territory.
Travel is required for meetings with customers, prospects, and team members. This may include overnight travel for company events, training, or client visits.
A valid driver's license and a driving record meeting company standards are required.
If working remotely, a quiet, professional workspace with the necessary software and equipment will be needed.
