PRN Assisted Living CNA/CHHA

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRN Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our assisted living team. This position offers the flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, ideal for individuals seeking a dynamic and rewarding role in elder care. As a PRN team member, you will provide essential support and care to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a respectful and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to nursing staff promptly.
• Support residents with mobility and exercise routines as recommended by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided and residents' condition.
• Engage in meaningful interactions with residents, fostering a warm and supportive community atmosphere.
• Assist with the upkeep of residents' living areas to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Adhere to all healthcare regulations and protocols to ensure the safety and dignity of residents.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to deliver comprehensive care plans tailored to each resident's needs.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (CHHA) in the state of New Jersey.
• Previous experience in an assisted living, nursing home, or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
