Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, ensuring high-quality production and efficiency. The CNC Machine Operator will interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce precision components. Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathe, horizontal, and vertical machining centers.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency in production.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines to maintain optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator, with expertise in operating lathe machines and 5-axis CNC machines.
- Strong understanding of CNC machine programming and operation.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
