Device Test Engineer (NJ)
As the Device Test Engineer, you will be responsible for new device testing and certification. In this role, you will drive OEMs and certification testing process so devices (routers, laptops, etc) arrive for on-time, high quality device launches.

Must-Have Skills:
· 4+ Years experience working in a telecom-related role and/or Network engineering
· Knowledge of 4G/5G and router/switch device ecosystem.
· Knowledge of how devices interact with the network, call hand offs, etc
· Telecom device testing and certification experience.
· Bachelors in Engineering
· Testing compatibility of wireless devices with the network
· Certifying those devices to be sold by the wireless company
· Experience in process execution, development, and deployment of products and new technologies.
· Experience identifying and delivering creative opportunities to achieve business organization goals.
· Experience with collaboration and stakeholder management in a cross-functional environment.
· Strong written and oral communication skills.
· Proficiency in Google Suite, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other standard office computer applications.

Daily Responsibilities:
· Driving and executing detailed technical requirements and test strategy for new product feature needs.
· Owning detailed development, testing and certification schedule with OEMs and internal stakeholders.
· Creating cost and time efficient certification strategy that addresses Verizon network and business customer needs.
· Planning and executing software updates to address field feedback, new feature requests and return drivers.
· Managing device OEMs to higher device quality and performance by benchmarking device’s network performance KPIs, call in rate and return rate
