RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic production equipment.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility utilities.
• Diagnose issues involving PLC-controlled and automated manufacturing systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Support equipment reliability initiatives by improving preventive maintenance programs.
• Respond quickly to equipment failures to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, equipment documentation, and spare parts inventories.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production and other cross-functional teams.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
• Train and mentor maintenance technicians while promoting safe work practices and regulatory compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Several years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience working with PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Prior experience supporting pharmaceutical or other cGMP-regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
• Experience maintaining oral solid dosage manufacturing equipment—including tablet presses, coaters, granulators, mixers, and packaging equipment—is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently on an overnight shift.
