About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Buyer to join our team at Belle Mead location. This role is pivotal to strengthen supplier performance, improve operational reliability, and increase visibility into supplier-related risks, costs, and opportunities. The role bridges procurement strategy and day-to-day supplier execution in a manufacturing setting.

This role is not currently sponsoring visas or considering international movement at this time.

Your responsibilities

• Scope of Responsibility : Managing and overseeing the supply operations of the Belle Mead location.

• Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with internal stakeholders including procurement, planning, quality, production teams, and department heads, to understand their procurement needs and provide tailored solutions.

• Vendor Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, delivery, and cost expectations.

• Ownership and Accountability : Take ownership of procurement activities at the factory and serve as the face of procurement, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Cost Optimization : Continuously seek opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement in procurement activities.

The experience we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Proven relevant experience in procurement with preferred experienced in the consumer goods industry.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Hands-on and on-site approach with a high level of ownership and accountability.

• Self-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive cost-effective deals.

US salary ranges

USD $79,000.00 - $119,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law.
