We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide support to pediatricians and assist in delivering high-quality care to our young patients. This role requires excellent communication skills, a nurturing attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pediatricians during patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization
• Record patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately
• Assist in administering vaccinations and medications as directed by the physician
• Educate patients and their families on health and wellness topics
• Schedule appointments and manage patient records in the electronic health record system
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and inventory management

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred
• Previous experience in a pediatric or healthcare setting is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well with children and their families
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems and basic office software
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
• Spanish Speaking or Portuguese Speaking Preferred
