Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract role offers an opportunity to provide specialized occupational therapy services within a school setting, supporting students from PreK through 8th grade. The position is onsite in Clifton, NJ, designed to cover a leave of absence. With a commitment of 15 hours per week, this role is ideal for therapists seeking part-time work in an educational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions designed to enhance students' functional abilities and participation in the school environment.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needs.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapeutic techniques as necessary to meet goals.
• Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills essential for academic success.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to support student success and well-being.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapy license.
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably PreK-8th grade.
• Familiarity with school-based occupational therapy requirements and documentation.
• Ability to work effectively within an educational team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
