Line Leader

Staff Management Group is seeking a Line Leader for our client in Monroe, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 7:30AM - 4PM
• Monday - Friday

Pay Rate:

• $18 - $20 / hour 

Job Summary:

Oversees the manufacture of the kit assembly process by training and motivating line assembly personnel and the production process to ensure adherence to line specifications and the product’s quality. Assists department supervisor and manager by completing specific line assignments as directed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Report any production problems to supervisors.
• Responsible for the assembly process of kits as by the production standards or detailed customer instructions.
• Responsible for line workers following the assembly procedures and following the smallest detail.
• Records production on scorecards on an hourly basis.
• Verifies correct material that comes in and out of the production line.
• Checking ink-jetting for batch codes, finishing goods, etc.
• Verifies that the work is 100% complete and defect-free.

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred
• Previous leadership or team lead experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Lift up to 40 lbs.
• Perform repetitive motions including bending, lifting, and reaching
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Safety shoes
• Visual Acuity. (Ability to view text/objects at close range for prolonged periods.)
• Crouching/Stooping/Bending.
• Repetitive motion (wrists/hands/fingers).
• Liftings (up to and including 40lbs) / Standing (prolonged).
• Some computer and scanner knowledge.
