Role Description: Data Analyst

Location: Basking Ridge NJ

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support customer analytics and business insights generation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, Tableau/Looker, and EDA, along with hands-on experience in churn analysis, ARPU analytics, Customer 360, and behavioral data insights.

Role and responsibilities

1. Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in customer data
2. Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau / Looker
3. Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
4. Analyze customer behavior, segmentation, and lifecycle trends
5. Support churn analysis and retention strategies by identifying key drivers of customer attrition
6. Perform ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) analysis to identify revenue opportunities
7. Contribute to building and enhancing Customer 360 datasets and views
8. Translate business questions into analytical queries and data-driven insights
9. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and validation of reports and dashboards
10. Utilize GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Storage) for data analysis and reporting

Technical skills requirements

The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in,

• Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, aggregations, window functions)
• Hands-on experience with Tableau / Looker
• Strong understanding of EDA and data analysis techniques
• Experience in customer analytics use cases - Churn analysis, ARPU analytics, Customer segmentation, Customer 360
• Ability to analyze behavioral and transactional data
• Exposure to cloud platform- GCP– BigQuery, Dataproc, Composer
• Strong Knowledge in Python

Nice-to-have skills

• Experience with AI-native analytics tools and automation platforms
• Domain expertise in telecom

Qualifications

• Overall 9+ years with 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Data Analyst Customer Domain
• B.Tech., M.Tech. or MCA degree from a reputed university
