**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disruptions.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public as needed during patrols or incident response.
+ Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the location's management.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
+ Possess an armed guard card or license.
+ Possess a New Jersey RPO certificate.
+ A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
