Dental Sterlization Technition
Full job description:
Looking for a way into dentistry? No experience needed — we'll train you.
Cambridge Dental Group is a growing, multi specialty private practice in Tom’s River looking for a Sterilization Technician. You'll learn how a high-end dental office runs from the inside out — and for the right person, this role is a real entry point into a career in dentistry, with room to grow.
Already have your X-ray license and thinking about becoming a dental assistant? This role will give you the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of a modern dental practice and grow from there.
What you get:
- Competitive hourly pay
- Subsidized health insurance
- Paid holidays and vacation time ( at least 3 weeks a year)
- Monday through Thursday, 8:30-6, Friday 8:30-1— your evenings and weekends are yours
- A modern, well-equipped office with a team that actually likes working together
- Hands-on training and a genuine path forward in dentistry
What you'll be doing:
You'll keep the office moving. You'll learn every instrument we use and how to properly clean, package, and sterilize them in a safe manner . Staff and patient safety is our utmost concern. You'll keep every treatment room stocked, disinfected, and ready for the next patient. And when the schedule picks up, you'll help get patients seated and ready for treatment.
- Cleaning, packaging, and sterilizing dental instruments
- Breaking down and setting up treatment rooms between patients
- Stocking operatories with supplies and materials
- Managing sterilization inventory and flagging supply needs
- sharps disposal
It's a defined role with clear responsibilities — and when you do it well, the whole office runs better.
What we're looking for:
- Reliable and punctual — if you're not here, rooms back up and the whole team feels it
- Detail-oriented — sterilization means doing it right every time, not just getting through a list
- Comfortable on your feet all day in a clinical environment
- Someone who wants to understand why things are done a certain way, not just follow steps
Helpful but not required:
- Healthcare, veterinary, or dental office experience
- NJ dental X-ray license
- Hospital sterile processing experience
About us:
Cambridge Dental Group is a high-end family practice that provides every phase of dental care in one place. The team is tight-knit, supportive, and drama-free. We invest in good equipment, good people, and doing good work.
Questions? Reach out — we're happy to talk.
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Benefits:
- Employee discount
- Free parking
- Subsidized Health insurance
- On-the-job training
- Opportunities for advancement
- Paid sick time
