Brightstar Care of Hunterdon County is looking for an Occupational Therapist to work in the Clinton, NJ area.
OT Day-to-Day Duties...
- Conduct physical & psychological assessments of clients
- Work cooperatively w/ physicians to develop care & appropriate treatment plans
- Assess home environments of clients & explore adjustments which may be beneficial
- Assess for benefits of adaptive equipment to assist client w/ ADL's
- Advise client through the process of obtaining devices, as well as proper use of devices by client, family & caregivers
- Report client's response to treatment or changes in condition to the Director of Nursing & physician
- Initiate occupational therapy program & instruct other personnel, including family members & caregivers, in specific phases of occupational therapy w/ which they may assist with the client
- Prepare clinical & progress summaries, as well as participate in discharge planning
- Treat clients, families & staff w/ courtesy & respect.
