Dental Treatment Coordinator
Zen Dental Care is a modern, patient-focused dental practice in Parsippany, NJ looking for an experienced Treatment Coordinator / Dental Office Manager to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both the patient relationship side of dentistry and the organizational side of practice management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present treatment plans clearly and confidently to patients
- Explain insurance benefits and financial options
- Help patients understand the value of recommended care
- Improve case acceptance through clear communication and education
- Follow up with patients who have unscheduled treatment
- Submit and track insurance claims
- Review and reconcile accounts receivable
- Process payments and patient balances
- Ensure accurate documentation and billing
- Manage and optimize the daily schedule for productivity
- Support front desk operations and patient communication
- Maintain organized patient records and financial documentation
- Work closely with the clinical team to ensure smooth workflow
- Help maintain a positive, team-oriented office culture.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years experience at front desk in a dental office.
- Experience with treatment planning and presenting financial estimates
- Knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and claims processing
- Strong communication and patient relationship skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Dentrix Software experience
- Experience in a comprehensive or cosmetic dental practice
- Leadership or office management experience
- This is an in-person job, must be able to commute to 07054 zip code.
