HR Generalist

Description We are looking for a skilled HR-Generalist to join a team in Vineland, New Jersey. This is a contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment while advancing your career in human resources. Responsibilities: - Manage employee relations by addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace environment. - Oversee onboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for new team members. - Administer benefit programs and assist employees with related inquiries. - Maintain and update HR records in compliance with organizational policies. - Implement and manage HRIS systems to enhance operational efficiency. - Support daily HR operations, including paperwork processing and policy enforcement. - Develop strategies to modernize HR practices, transitioning from paper-based to digital systems. - Collaborate with management to identify workforce needs and support organizational goals. - Provide guidance to staff regarding HR policies and procedures. - Take the lead in running the HR department independently after the current HR manager retires. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources, preferably in manufacturing or warehouse environments. - Strong knowledge of employee relations and HR administration. - Proficiency in onboarding processes and benefit functions. - Familiarity with HRIS systems and the ability to implement new technologies. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and handle HR responsibilities with minimal supervision. - Effective communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse teams. - Thick-skinned and adaptable to challenges in a fast-paced work setting.
