We are looking for a dependable and motivated Administrative Assistant / Office Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in transportation or office operations. You will help support our dispatch team by answering phones, communicating with drivers and customers, and assisting with daily office tasks.

No dispatch experience is required. We are happy to train the right person who has a positive attitude, is eager to learn, and is comfortable using a computer.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate team member.
• Assist the dispatch team with daily scheduling and office tasks.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and team members throughout the day.
• Enter and update information in the computer system.
• Help keep records organized and accurate.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Support the team with other administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, organized, and willing to learn.
• Able to work well with others in a team environment.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced office.

Compensation & Schedule

• $18-20 per hour, depending on experience
• Full-time position
• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• In-office position located in Edison, NJ

Well experienced in logistics, Richard drove trucks throughout the tri-state area for several years. With Stephanie's experience of more than 10 years in the medical industry and an associate degree in Applied Science, the two realized the great opportunity for offering a more timely and reliable solution.

Unlike other services operating as a curb-to-curb service, Marvel is committed to safely escorting you or your loved one from residence or facility to a clean, comfortable, and modern wheelchair accessible vehicle. On arrival at your destination, trained staff will escort you to check-in.
