Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Multidiscipline Technician for Community Medical Center.

Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state’s newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County’s largest and most active health care facility—caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Graduate of Multi-Technical program

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• BLS required.(American Heart Association)

Preferred:

• Acute Care/ED experience
• Phlebotomy and EKG experience

Scheduling Requirements :

• Day Shift, 24 hours per week, 6 a-6:30p

Essential Functions:

• The Multidiscipline Technician is a direct patient caregiver who assists the Registered Nurse .
• Providing patient care, based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service
• Providing for effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment and critical actions
• Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient’s care
• Participating in collaboration of our patient's plan of care from ad mission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning
