Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Candle Maker Instructor to lead engaging workshops and training sessions on candle making. In this role, you will teach participants the art and science of candle creation, ensuring they gain practical skills while fostering creativity. Your expertise will inspire others to explore their potential in manufacturing and craftsmanship within a dynamic learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on candle making classes, demonstrating techniques from wax melting to finishing touches using hand tools and power tools.
• Develop curriculum materials that cover safety procedures, proper use of equipment, and manufacturing best practices.
• Guide participants through the assembly line process of candle production, emphasizing mechanical knowledge and factory experience.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed when handling wax, wicks, molds, and electrical equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including warehouse areas for materials and tools.
• Provide feedback and mentorship to help learners improve their skills and confidence in manufacturing techniques.
• Manage inventory of supplies and tools needed for classes, including hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in candle making
• 1+ years in teaching candle making
• Has taught children before
• Has a reliable mode of transportation
• Competent in creating lesson plans
