The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Determines registrations status and financial clearance for upcoming patients, pre registers accounts and determines which patients need to be seen for registration, collection of co pay referral forms, and or financial counseling .

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum of one year of Hospital or Medical experience
  • Basic PC skills

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Full Time
  • Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm

Job Functions:

  • Greet all visitors, patients, and families in a customer friendly manner
  • Screen patients to determine registration and or financial counseling needs
  • Log visits of patients into the hospitals information system
  • Collect payment and referrals from patients, and see that patients are registered and seen in a timely fashion
  • Assist staff with various clerical duties, including patient registration and insurance verification as needed
  • Monitor lobby for safety
  • Greet all visitors, patients, and families in a warm friendly manner in person and on the phone
  • Provide visitors with visitor stickers and monitor that stickers are worn while visitors are on CSH premises
  • Provide general information as requested, and direct visitors appropriately
  • Determine the registration and or financial counseling needs of all patients who arrive for treatment
  • Ensure that these patients are assisted by staff in a timely fashion in order to receive treatment as scheduled
  • Request payment at time of service for copays or other amounts due from the patient according to the Hospitals policy
  • Schedules ACC appointments and performs scheduling functions, confirms appointments
