Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Location: Manasquan, NJ
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician with hands-on experience in fabrication, mechanical assembly, and wiring of various products. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working with minimal supervision in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical assembly and sub-assembly of products and systems based on drawings, schematics, and work instructions

• Fabricate parts using a variety of techniques and tools (drilling, cutting, grinding, etc.)

• Execute basic to complex wiring tasks involving electrical or electromechanical components

• Operate and maintain power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

• Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate and high-quality builds

• Conduct inspections and tests to verify quality and functionality of finished products

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Support other departments as needed and participate in continuous improvement activities

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification a plus

• 2+ years of mechanical assembly and/or fabrication experience preferred

• Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and precision measuring equipment

• Solid understanding of mechanical principles and wiring practices

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
