Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Associate Parts

Location: Byram, NJ

Pay: $21 hour

Shift: First Shift

We are seeking a detail oriented Shipping / Receiving Associate to manage the efficient processing of orders and shipments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. This role involves organizing and distributing materials, conducting inventory counts, and maintaining accurate records in our business systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders for shipment by packing and labeling parts according to specifications.
• Schedule shipments and generate shipping documents in compliance with DOT, IATA, and customer requirements.
• Receive incoming materials and distribute them to production areas.
• Maintain the organization of parts and packaging materials.
• Perform inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
• Alert purchasing when supplies require replenishment.
• Enter shipping and receiving data into internal business systems.
• Follow ISO 9001 policies and internal procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of processed information.
• Support additional shipping, packaging, and material handling tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Experience shipping and receiving parts.
• Proficiency in packaging and shipping operations.
• Ability to receive and allocate incoming materials.
• Adherence to compliance standards for DOT, IATA, and customer requirements.
• Proficiency in data processing in internal business systems.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, squat, and lift throughout the shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Budd Lake, NJ 07828.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
