Role and Responsibilities:

•greeting patients

•assisting the doctor chairside

•charting

•entering charges, treatment plans, document, clinical notes, etc.

•coordinating patient care w/the doctors and front desk staff

•maintaining stock in operatory

•set up and breakdown operatory

•take digital radiographs (x-rays)

•manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment

•adhere to all OSHA and safety policies and procedures

•helping out co-workers throughout the day

*All other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the immediate supervisor

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

•Must love kids!

•*CDA/RDA * or the ability to sit for the RDA in the near future.

•X-Ray Certification

•High School Diploma or equivalent

•Knowledge of Dentrix a plus but training will be provided

•Patient oriented and child friendly

•Good organizational skills

•Willing to learn all aspects of the dental office

•Resume must demonstrate stable employment history

Our main focus is on the importance of the "Age 1" dental visit for all kids and establishing a dental home by the time the first tooth appears. We also specialize in taking care of kids with both medical and behavioral special needs. The doctors and staff at our practice are committed to creating an environment that makes patients, and their families, feel welcome, comfortable, and safe. Every patient that comes into our office, regardless of their needs, is treated equally, with compassion and respect.
