Material Handler

Staff Management Group is seeking a Material Handler for our client in East Windsor, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 7AM - 3:30PM
• Plus overtime

Pay Rate:

• $16 / hour

Job Summary:

The Material Handler supports production operations by handling raw materials and products throughout various manufacturing processes, including blending, granulation, compression, coating, and liquid or semi-solid processing. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, following GMP standards, and supporting safe, efficient material flow within the facility.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle and transport materials used in manufacturing processes such as blending, granulation, compression, coating, liquids, suspensions, and semi-solids
• Support production teams by staging, moving, and organizing materials as needed
• Perform clean-up activities before and after production processes
• Conduct basic sanitation tasks under the guidance of trained operators, including cleaning containers, parts, and equipment
• Dispose of waste materials properly according to company and safety guidelines
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times
• Maintain a clean, organized, and contamination-free work area
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements
• Assist with additional duties as assigned to support production and facility operations

Job Requirements:

• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn GMP and SOP requirements
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and quality
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a team
