Job Details

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of commercial litigation, including case assessment, strategy, discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediation/arbitration, and trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, dispositive and discovery motions, and appellate briefs.
• Take and defend depositions; argue motions in state and federal courts.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships; provide timely, practical advice aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups (real estate, construction, land use) on matters with parallel transactional or regulatory issues.

Qualifications

• Bar Admissions: New Jersey (required) and either New York or Pennsylvania (required).
• Minimum 3 years of substantive commercial litigation experience, including motion practice and depositions; trial or arbitration experience a plus.
• Strong research and writing skills; comfort with courtroom appearances and client interaction.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and drive matters forward with minimal oversight.
• Clerkship experience and/or federal practice experience welcomed but not required
