Your Impact

• Program CNC milling equipment from the ground up to hit all manufacturing and design requirements.
• Translate prints into robust processes, selecting optimal methods for standard part families.
• Execute complete setups and run production independently with minimal oversight.
• Diagnose and resolve tooling, G-code, and machine issues; implement immediate corrective actions.
• Engineer tooling choices, cut sequences, tool paths, speeds/feeds, and chip loads to maintain extremely tight tolerances while maximizing throughput.
• Protect schedule adherence by maximizing machine uptime and recommending efficiency upgrades.
• Handle part loading/unloading and deburring to ensure dimensionally accurate, clean parts.
• Maintain a clean, safe work cell including equipment, tools, and personal PPE.
• Perform preventive maintenance: coolant/oil checks, chip/waste removal, and monthly tasks assigned by Maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience setting up and operating milling machinery.
• Applied math proficiency with emphasis on geometry.
• Mechanical mindset with strong troubleshooting and decision-making ability.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments.
• Blueprint literacy: read and interpret drawings accurately.
• Ability to stand for long periods; capable of stooping, bending, and stretching.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Overtime flexibility.
